The Irregularities Reporting Channel is an independent whistleblowing service for any irregular practices ("communication" or “disclosure”), as foreseen in the Regulation on Reporting of Irregularities, managed by Deloitte on behalf of Semapa.
The purpose of this Reporting Channel is to provide Semapa with a mechanism for internal reporting of irregular practices, in which reports of irregularities are submitted through an effective and trustworthy system for their detection, investigation and resolution, in compliance with the rules of conduct established by Semapa and with the principles of guaranteed anonymity, confidentiality, safeguards and non-retaliation in relations with whistleblowers, as well as compliance with data protection and information security standards.
Entity’s Irregularities Reporting Channel was designed to receive disclosures relating to the matters below:
- Abuse or undue influence;
- Corruption, money laundering and related offences;
- Harassment, bullying or discrimination;
- Conflicts of interest and transactions with related parties;
- Fraud;
- Violation of occupational/environmental health and safety conduct;
- Asset misappropriation and theft;
- Economic sanctions and embargoes;
- Conduct or Ethics violation
- Policy/Procedure violation;
- Public procurement;
- Financial services, products and markets, and prevention of money laundering and terrorist financing;
- Product safety and compliance;
- Transport safety;
- Protection of the environment;
- Radiation protection and nuclear safety;
- Food and feed safety, animal health and welfare;
- Public health;
- Consumer protection;
- Protection of privacy and personal data, and security of network and information systems;
- Other serious violations.
Whistleblowers may provide information, evidence and facts related to possible irregularities, anonymously or identifying themselves.
