The Ethics Channel is an independent whistleblowing service for any irregular practices ("communication"), as foreseen in the Code of Conduct and Ethics, managed by Deloitte on behalf of Esporão hereinafter referred to as Ethics Channel.

The Code of Conduct and Ethics establishes a set of rules and procedures related to the receipt, registration and treatment of communications of irregularities, in accordance with the legal and regulatory provisions at each applicable time, as well as with the rules, principles and values present in the Code of Conduct and Ethics of Esporão.

The Ethics Channel provides a mechanism to Esporão for the participation of irregular practices, in which the disclosure of irregularities is submitted in an effective, expeditious and appropriate system for its identification, investigation and resolution. The Ethics Channel complies with the highest ethical principles and ensures the anonymity, confidentiality, safeguarding and non-retaliation of whistleblowers, as well as complying with data protection and information security standards.

Entity’s Ethics Channel was designed to receive disclosures relating to the matters below:

  • Bribery, Corruption & Money Laundering and Terrorist Financing
  • Bullying & Harassment
  • Competition & Consumer protection
  • Data protection and privacy and cybersecurity
  • Discrimination
  • Ethics, Misconduct or Conflicts of interest
  • Food and feed safety, animal health and welfare
  • Fraud & Theft
  • Product and transport safety and compliance
  • Protection of the environment
  • Public health
  • Public procurement and purchasing
  • Radiation protection and nuclear safety
  • Other serious violations

Entity’s employees, customers or suppliers may provide information, evidence and facts related to possible irregularities, anonymously or identifying themselves.
